A classic and simple design bangle to be worn everyday. Re cast from Aluminium War Scrap. Presented in a hand made paper gift pouch made from the leaves of the Mulberry Tree with Story Card attached.

From 1964-1973 approximately 270 million bombs were dropped on Laos by the USA. An estimated 80 million failed to detonate. Village Artisans in Laos melt down this war scrap and re cast the aluminium bomb casings into beautiful Peace Bangles, providing sustainable income for the metal workers and contributes to the development of the community. The Peace Project is a collaboration between Us and Village Artisans in Laos. Loom Designs donates $1 from the sale of each piece to Cope Laos, rehabilitating UXO survivors.
